28Stone Consulting was founded in 2011, by Frank Erickson and Thomas Dolan, both Capital Markets practitioners working for leading consulting firms including Random Walk Computing, Accenture and Capco. With over 30 years of combined experience in consulting to the Capital Markets industry, they’ve led global teams responsible for designing and building real time trading systems, market places, exchanges and clearing houses across all asset classes.

Thomas Dolan, Co-founder and Principal

Prior to founding 28Stone, Thomas spent five years as an executive in Accenture’s Capital Markets Solution Group. While with Accenture, Thomas specialized in the functional specification and design of electronic trading systems, specifically within the Interdealer space. Thomas also has extensive experience in leading business analysis teams and in crafting flexible functional analysis processes to fit the demanding and forever changing needs of custom trading software development.

Before joining Accenture, Thomas was a senior consultant at Random Walk Computing, a boutique, custom software development shop specializing in designing Java solutions for the financial services industry. Thomas has also held the position of management consultant at Capco where he specialized in back office enterprise transformation and clearing & settlements.

Frank Erickson, Co-founder and Principal

Prior to founding 28Stone, Frank spent five years as an executive in Accenture’s Capital Markets Solution Group. While with Accenture, Frank learned the skills required to work with and manage a globally distributed software development team. Prior to joining Accenture, Frank was a principal consultant at Random Walk Computing. During his 11+ years with Accenture and Random Walk, Frank specialized in the technical design, implementation and delivery of electronic trading systems. He has extensive, hands-on experience, and a proven track record of successful delivery and maintenance of five separate Interdealer trading systems supporting dozens of global electronic and hybrid markets.

Before joining Random Walk, Frank held positions as a developer, architect and project manager for NASA and the US Department of Defense working on a wide range of projects including a satellite base station, aircraft flight management system and a proprietary, reliable real-time messaging system.

Andrejs Dembovskis, 28Stone Latvia Lead

Andrejs is responsible for the management and day to day operations of the 28Stone software delivery centers in both Riga and Daugavpils, Latvia. Prior to helping establish the 28Stone Riga office in 2012, Andrejs worked as a client facing, development team lead for Intrum Justitia.

Prior to Intrum, Andrejs acquired most of his Capital Markets experience while working in Accenture’s Capital Markets Solution Group as senior system analyst leading teams working on both systems support and new applications development.

Prior to Accenture, Andrejs was senior consultant in Sony Ericsson Mobile Communication department and, prior to that, a consultant at Qube. Beyond Capital Markets, Andrejs has software delivery expertise in various areas including satellite communications and the build out of a shared royalties platform for the entertainment Industry.

David Lustig, Managing Director Business Development

David is responsible for 28Stone Global Sales, Marketing and Channels Management. Prior to 28Stone, David was a Director of Business Development at GFT North America where he was a key contributor to the firm's growth in the US and Latin America.

Before Joining GFT, David was Vice President of Business Development at Sapient, responsible for acquiring new clients and managing strategic accounts in the New York area. Prior to joining Sapient, David was the head of Business Development at Accenture Capital Markets Solutions group leading the integration of Random Walk Computing and focused on creating new service offerings. As a Vice President of Business Development at Random Walk Computing, David was in charge of sales operations and marketing and managed the firm's key accounts. David was a lead contributor to Random Walk's distinction as the premier technology consulting boutique on Wall Street.
